Room size and tiling. Room size sets how much work goes into sealing surfaces against moisture and laying tiles. Larger floors and walls need more glue and extra hours for grouting joints.
Plumbing re-routing. Keeping drains and water lines in place keeps labor costs down. Moving toilets or removing bidets means cutting into floors and walls. Cutting channels into solid brick walls adds extra brickwork.
Selected surface finishes. Smooth concrete finishes or very big slabs take more steps to fit than standard ceramic tiles. Building up coats also takes set drying times between each layer.
Licensing and debris disposal. Town hall building permits and licensed skip hire are fixed costs for any bathroom refit. We take care of the town hall waste forms for all stripped-out rubble.
Sanitary fixtures. Toilets hung on walls and walk-in shower screens need extra support frames inside the wall. Concealed metal frames must be bolted firmly in place before we tile over them.
